Appearance Ankha is a striking navy blue cat with gold stripes. Her makeup includes navy blue eyeliner, reminiscent of ancient Egyptian royalty, accentuating her eyes with winged extensions at the corners. Her orange eyeshadow becomes visible when she blinks, and her large black pupils often look upwards. Despite her occasional happiness, her mouth is perpetually set in a scowl. She wears an uraeus headpiece, a golden Egyptian cobra with blue stripes. In City Folk, her usual pharaoh headdress is replaced by a scarab head pendant, but this was restored to the headdress in New Leaf. Personality Ankha’s snooty personality is characterized by her talkativeness and vanity. In Doubutsu no Mori+, Animal Crossing, and Doubutsu no Mori e+, she is somewhat warmer than other snooty villagers and strives to be both admired and attractive, though she can still be occasionally catty or rude. From Animal Crossing: City Folk onward, Ankha presents as arrogant and snobbish, especially towards the player and other villagers. However, she may display friendliness in mature conversations that do not critique her lifestyle. Her focus on appearance means she can become upset if her style or fitness is criticized. Conversations with jock villagers may lead to tension, while interactions with lazy villagers—who prioritize food or relaxation—might provoke discomfort or anger from her. She may also clash with peppy villagers due to her tendency to gossip and judge them. Nevertheless, Ankha tends to get along well with normal, cranky, and fellow snooty villagers. In Animal Crossing In Animal Crossing, Ankha has specific preferences when it comes to fruit. She is allergic to apples, so giving her these will decrease the chances of her dropping Bells. Conversely, Ankha loves cherries, and presenting her with these will increase the likelihood of her dropping Bells.
